The Flaggy Shore is a small area of coastline in Co. Clare near New Quay where the flat stone of the Burren meets the sea. The force of the sea has left a mix of worn, flat stone steps (like flag stones, hence the name) along with lots of beautiffuly rounded limestone rocks.
