> Lobster pots at a quay on Lettermore Island in Galway, Ireland.
  > This is a panorama image of the Long Walk created by joining together about 15 images using Photoshop. The picture was taken at low tide. The panorama shows a distorted view - in reality, the row of houses form a straight line. To the right of the image is the mouth of the Corrib and Nimmo's Pier and to the left is Wolf Tone bridge.

Because the image is much longer than it is tall, bear in mind that a print will have a lot of white space above and below the image.

  > A view of Galway Cathedral looking from near the courthouse - Salmon Weir bridge is on the left. The water channel in the foreground is an old millrace (the same millrace seen in this picture), behind it is the river Corrib.
  > Once upon a time, this waterway (on the right of the picture)was the source for a privately owned water supply in the city - the ruins of the pumphouse used to to be located near where the apartment building now stands. Actually, I took pictures of the pumphouse back in 1990 but I don't think those pictures have survived. Over the railing on the left of the picture flows the River Corrib.
This walkway links William O'Brien Bridge and Wolfe Tone Bridge in the city.
